Hello - thanks for all the valuable information on the Ultra guitars. I just picked one up on Craigslist. Doesn't have the original pickups (replaced with '62 reissues), but otherwise all seems to be stock. I was attracted to it for the ebony neck in particular and I hadn't seen a strat with a flame body like that before. Great guitar. Will send pictures if you are interested. take care, Dave

Love your pics an info I have a good collection to, 3 ultras 2 plus Mexican 72 Reissue Teley Custom Shop Strat, Flamed birdeye Eric Johnsom and 9 other U.S. Fenders selling off some now I might send you some pictures if interested have a matching set strat ultra fireburst and teley plus fireburst also ebony neck.a teley plus deluxe, Keep up the great work.

Xhefri thanks for taking the time and effort to create this site for us strat plus lovers. I have a 1989 or 1990 (can't remember which year I bought it) strat plus in pewter. I replaced the plain white pickguard with a white pearloid one from WD pickguards. One thing I noticed is that this pickguard does not have any foil shielding attached but so far this doen't seem to be a problem.

I have a american tele Im wanting to put the custom shop 4 position switch and twisted tele neck pickup in it. Can anyone help me with this. Im wondering how to do the wiring and stuff like do I need 250 k pots or what.
