I've played Gibsons for many years. But I had back surgery, and my L P was to heavy to hold anymore. I fell in love with the Strat Plus when I first saw them back in magazine add's in the 1980's.
I couldn't find one in good shape so I purchased an American Standard in 2oo8. Then I saw your web site and I added Gold Lace Sensors and a Clapton mid boost pre-amp. I love the guitar, (I don't really use the pre-amp) but it gives it a extra push even when turned down. Two weeks ago I purchased a new 2010 American Deluxe after I read that they put compound radius necks on them. It's really a nice guitar, and makes it easier to play while I'm in my chair, (I'm 59 now)I do all my own work. But I kinda like the new n3 pickups on the Deluxe, so far. So I'll hold off putting in Lace Sensors in just yet. The American Standard is a 3 tone Sunburst/rosewood neck. And the new Deluxe is in Olympic Pearl/rosewood neck.
Thanks for you wonderful inspiration on your beautiful guitars. Robert Davis

basically I am a blues harp player that plays some guitar. I have a few strats an AM Standard, an AM Deluxe and finally I found a really nice early '87 Strat plus in Graffiti Yellow .. on Ebay. There is no comparison it feels better and plays better than my other strats and I love the gold lace sensor PU's. I thank you for a very informative site that has helped me in my quest for finding a great Strat. I would like to see some suggestions as to what these guitars should sell for I think that would be helpful to those of us that have interest in these guitars. Keep up the great work! :!wait: :!wait: :!wait: :!wait: :!wait: :!wait: :

I am looking for a 1991 Antique Burst Stratocaster Ultra, we had a building out back that we had set up as a music studio for our son, he had over $10,000 of music equimpment including this guitar, well this morning about 4am we were awoke but the police beating on our door the building was on fire. We have been gathering equimpment for the past 10 years. It has been a hard morning for him, he said he felt like he had lost a good friend. So we are looking to replace this guitar, do you have one of these still for sale.
Thank for yout time.
Donna

Hello,
I really love this site..
I have a 1994 Strat Plus Ultra and this is the best site to visit if you have one of those guitars,,
I just want to ask Xhefri if a normal 2 Pivot Bridge system will fits My Ultra..
I can't find the same bridge (I have a Fender Floyd Rose Type II)..

Is it possible to buy somewhere the floyd rose type II?
Does the normal 2 pivot bridge fits a 1994 Ultra strat?

Thank you!!
