Great site Xhefri! I have a 2000 special edition maple deluxe strat in the cherry burst finish like your tobacco one,also only 150 made.From talking with fender they made 150 of these guitars in both colors.I wonder how many are left in mint condition and not altered!

Hi Jeff,we have spoken before regards a strat plus of mine,but I have a diferent question this time.I bought a USA Standard Strat with the number E4xxxx but at the neck socket on the body has the name of a person and penciled on the neck * * * is 8/27/81.Confusing I know.It has the standard 22 frets

Xhefri - a great site that persuaded me to buy a 1993 Strat Plus! I bought it sight unseen and will need to deal with some set-up issues. I wonder if you could help me please? The bridge saddle screws seem to be rusted in, and have lost their heads so I can't remove them. Any ideas on how to get them out, or will I need to buy replacement American Standard bridge saddles? I want to lower the action significantly but am stuck until I can move the saddle screws. The top E string doesn't sound as loud as other strings even with pickups adjusted to be higher on that side. Is there anything I can do about this or is it just a reflection of the lace sensors? Should the trem allow 3 semitones of upbend on the G string? At present it only allows 2 semitones.

I own a '97 Strat Plus, Midnight Wine color (that's not what the Fender Serial # says, though - it says "Candy Apple Red"

WOW!! I've always liked Strats'n'Teles & now have a few I like to work on now & then but your collection just knocks me right out. So fascinating, so informative, & so right!
I played a Jeff Beck many years ago & got into Strat Plus guitars, Lace p'ups, Custom DLXs, locking tuners, ebony necks, etc ever since,I love 'em! I've also got a wee collection of Parkers & just lately bought a couple of headless types for a future project, but the quality of your collection is so inspiring its just unbelievably good!!
