Thank you you your investigating efforts in guitar matters and Fender lour! I almost bought a "said" Strat plus on ebay until,"because of your insite", I did not! It was an Amer Stndrd.

Jeff, I've been following you're website for more years than I can remember, and you got me hooked good on the Strat Plus, and the collection continues to grow.
You're knowledge and generosity are truly appreciated.

Recently sold a Strat Plus that I bought from Tom Bukovac, to my good friend and award winning Guitarist Gill Paris, and I see him using it more often than not.
Mind you Reverend Guitars has a signature model named after Gill, yet he seems to prefer that reliable old Strat Plus.
Regards,
SB

Great page, I never knew this existed until today while researching a 1993 JB surf green Strat. I will certainly be back quite often for more info. Thanks again for all the info you have gathered here.

Fantastic site. Thanks for posting it. Excellent resource when researching guitars. Just picked up a '93 Strat Plus. Was able to identify and research it on your site prior to purchasing.
Thank you!! :)

Wonderful page. The best of its kind on the net!
It made me want to customize my Strats and a Tele.
It has cost me a fortune in parts, but I got many nice combinations out of them. As well in sound as in look.
For after some time to change them again. And again. And ...

(I'll never change my Jazzmaster. That would be sacrilege!)

Keep up the good work.

My first electric was a gift from my folks in 1990. A black strat plus. Rosewood fingerboard, trim-lok sperzel, Wilkinson roller nut, 3x gold lace sensors etc. I changed the pickguard from a standard white to an aftermarket pearloid. I sold it when I moved away to college and I have regret it ever since. I even went so far as to track down the friend I sold it to (whom I had not seen for 20 years - thank goodness for facebook) but he had left it at a friend's house after he graduated from college and that's where the trail went cold. I still dream about the guitar once in a while.

Keep up the great work and the Strat Plus vintage alive!
