Wonderful site and widely regarded worldwide as the authoritative Strat Plus site. I have just "found" Strat Plus's"n never knew what they were before this year despite dabbling with guitars since I was 12 (many years ago now). Currently have a lovely Fiesta red '87 E4 number and waiting on a '97 Deluxe I have just bought in NZ that was brought in with a USA visitor. Will send some photos soon to try identify colour which looks to be a crimson possibly metallic but maybe not. Like nothing I've ever seen on a Fender. Looking forward to seeing this USA original which looks mint. Keep up the good work, I will be checking this site out a lot. :!devil:

Really informative site - must be a real labour of love... I have a Surf Green Strat Plus, 452088, Split nut and Sperzels, rosewood neck, great but not mint and really woulkd like to know a value for insurance purposes - The shops down here are not that helpful sadly... Thanks for any help and keep up the good work!

Hi, Great Website! I was wondering what case came with an "87" Strat Pus?
I have a trade offer for an "87", vintage white, no hipshot or tremelo bar but original split wilkerson and sperzels, nice dark rosewood board. Don't think the case is original as it's one of the form fit case and not the full rectangular one. I had an "89" Deluxe plus that I relly liked so thinking about doing the trade! Thanks for any help and making such an informitive web page.
