Thanks for sharing your Strat Plus knowledge on your site. My own Gun Metal Blue instrument seems to be one the early, first version 1989 Strat Plus Deluxe guitars, with a somewhat unexpected combination of parts you mention: silver/silver/blue pickups, plain white pickguard and full Wilkinson nut as probably expected, but then an E4 serial number and Sperzel tuners.

I have a 50th Anniversary MIJ Strat that is actually the nicest Strat I hav ever played. It is Candy Apple Red and has all the gold hardware and pickups and is just like new. Cant believe I found it in a Pawn Shop in a very small town in Texas and picked it up for $300.00

Your site is where I do my research and it was extremely helpful when I was looking into purchasing my first Strat plus deluxe. It is a 1991 Crimson Frost model in all original condition. I also have a 1993 with a 2009 deluxe neck and refinished body in mat finish dark red. Both guitars are amazing to play but the bodies are different the 1991 is Fullerton style and the 1993 is Corona type. Your site is amazing.
