I have finally found the OFFICIAL color of my pink strat because of your site. I've had my guitar for 25 years. Thanks a million.
Officially I have a 1987, Fender Stratocaster plus-(USA)-in Dusty Rose. Never knew that until I found this website. I found out a lot here Keep up the good work. Wild horses couldn't get my strat away from me. I've had it since I was 19 yrs old. Looks and plays great. Maple neck, lace golds, sperziel locking tuners with a 2nd generation Wilkinson nut. Whew that was a mouthful.
Thanks again

I have a question: It looks like the finish is rippling under the clear coat on my '96 Jeff Beck strat...vertically with the grain...when I hold it to the light, you can see vertical waves under the clear coat. Can you tell me what it is?
GREAT SITE!!! Love your stuff!
Thanks,
Chris

Hi! Fantastic site for strat plus/ultra lovers. I have a '91 ultra and have been searching for the period-correct case with the lizard-skin looking material. If you or someone on here knows where I can find one, I'd greatly appreciate the information. Thanks!

I own a 93 Strat Plus Serial No. N3140939, in Deep Blue, with Rosewood with the LSR Roller Nut, Hipshot Tremsetter, Screw in Trem, and Schaller Tuners. Only had it our of the Original Strat Plus case 4-5 times in the last 20 Years.

Play mainly Les Paul's and Telecasters now, but I got this Strat from a Music Store in Hemel Hempstead iin late 93 for approx. $400, because it hard a 3MM Paint Chip on the Top Horn.

P.S. I am selling a 91 Clapton Strat (which was sold to me as an 89 by GUITAR CENTER!!!!) I'd like to sell it and get an old Jeff Beck strat. My Clapton is Pewter with Lace Golds and I would say excellent condition. I am also interested in that Gold Fender you have for sale. Reminds me of the one Townshend used at the Concert for NY in 01...

Thanks for the page! I love it!!! I am always looking for guitars. I am actually looking for an old Jeff Beck w/ the Wilkonson trem, or a Strat Plus that is similar w/ the fat neck. Any leads or help would be appreciated. Thanks again for a GREAT site and some wonderful info and picks.
Regards,
Chris

Thanks for your time and knowledge. I have read your entire site twice to make sure I wasn't asking that same old question you have answered many times. I need the screws for first generation wilkinson nut. I have tried fender more than once at best they gave me misinformation. Please point me in the right direction. I have tried for months. Any information you can give me would be more than I have and greatly appreciated. My first real guitar was a 91 beck have tried many years to find another is there hope of me ever finding one? Hope you can solve my screw problem.THANKS AGAIN!
