Thanks for all the info on this site, it is outstanding. I had a midnight wine 1990 plus deluxe which I bought in about 1992, it had blue, silver, red pickups and maple neck and was the best guitar I ever owned. Stupidly I sold it in 1996 to fund my studies. I am picking up a new plus deluxe on Friday, a sunburst 1990, near mint with all case candy, John Cruz quality tested. Very excited! Thanks again for the brilliant site.

Thank you for the great wealth of information regarding the Strat Plus. I have 1997 that I traded years ago that I am returning to it original setup, the information provided now make me sure that is indeed a Strat Plus.

What a great site!! Thanks for all the info! I have one of the '84 serial numbers made by John Cruz...Love it! My serial number ends in 70 which indicates Yellow...but looks more like aged cream?
Keep up the good work! Thanks!

Thanks for all the great info and insight. I have a 1989 Strat Plus with Lace silver silver blue pups. From what I can glean from your site, it sounds like this is most likely one of the earliest Plus Deluxes. Is that definite, or does that pup configuration not make it a sure thing? Also, how do I know if my locking tuners are Schaller or Sperzel?
